Tanda Light Therapy Reviews – Is the Tanda Light Therapy System a Scam?

Light technology has been in place for quite some time in the world of dermatology. The Tanda Light Therapy System is FDA approved for the treatment of acne.  According to the manufacturer  “The Tanda Light Therapy System  is a 660nm red LED treatment that accelerates the skin’s natural healing process. Tända Regenerate diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and gives the skin a natural healthy feel and appearance. The 600nm red light source has been shown to accelerate the skin's natural healing processes as well as stimulates the production of collagen for  rejuvenation.” 

The Tanda Light Therapy reviews show that the manufacturer advertises that this system can be used for a host of skin maladies to include Rosacea and aging. The process mimics laser treatment therapy that you would go to your dermatologist for. The idea is the same, typically the treatments are done in three minute intervals. The device is hand held and comes with a charging station.  

Consumers have mixed reviews. There are quite a few complaints that the Tanda Light Therapy System fails after a few months, and that the manufacturer has not responded as expected when the consumers call to complain about the product.  

The manufacturer advertises that the system can be used for over 10,000 treatments, most consumers have found that the system typically fails after few months of use.  

It is not unusual to find comments like: 

“Tanda worked for me for six months, then it was no longer able to remain on long enough to complete a three minute session. It turns itself off in 30 seconds. I emailed the company a week ago and have not received a response.”  

“The light would not stay on for three minutes after fully charged. When I reported it to the seller, they quickly sent me a replacement, without charging me for shipping. Unfortunately, the second one was worse than the first one. I was turned off at the defects and relized that this problem is probably common for this product eventually.”  

“It’s unfortunate the device is not better made for the price because I think it may have helped my acne. All the beeping and error messages were just too much so I returned mine.” 

Evidently the consumers that have reviewed this product have had too many technical products to really realize any positive results. There are some consumers who experienced some great results but even those that did achieve the results were still not satisfied with the equipment and reported malfunctions.  

 The product is expensive at around $290, has been reported to fail often and most consumers are generally dissatisfied with the product. When it works it really works and when it doesn’t well it really doesn’t.
